March 22, 2009: Learn to write mystery short stories
We held a panel discussion entitled “New England Crime Story Collection Explores Back Roads and Dark Streets” by authors whose short stories appeared in Deadfall: Crime Stories by New England Writers. Local author, Kathy Chencharik, who not only has a story in the book but also produced the photograph that graces the cover, was among the authors on the panel.

Some of the animals included were tortoises, lizards, snakes, an alligator, a large parrot, a binturong, a kangaroo, a bush baby, an African porcupine, a chinchilla, a ferret, and hedgehogs.
